To ensure that the to-be processes are both effective and efficient, Service Delivery Processes Lead should document the process capability which is the long term performance level of the processes which needs to be monitored and reported to the Client post completion of the transition.
Typically, the process capability requirements are defined in the contract with their definitions and reporting requirements. The purpose of documenting these is to have a common understanding and alignment with the Client. Based on these requirements, Service Delivery Processes Lead should define and document the critical success factors and critical to quality requirements of each of the processes.
The Engagement Manager (Transition) must identify tools Subject Matter Experts and share it with the Service Delivery Processes Lead as part of the transition initiation phase.
The Service Delivery Processes Lead must share these requirements with the tools Subject Matter Experts who would then plan and make the changes to the corresponding tools.
